![]() ![]() It’s a great deal if you take lessons in the morning because then, you have about 4 hours to do some runs. My only issue was that they closed the lifts at 4pm (which I totally get since it gives you time to return your rentals before it gets dark). All of the employees on the magic carpet and beginner lift were so nice and helpful - they weren’t annoyed at all if you messed up getting on or off the lift. The beginner runs at Mt Rose are fantastic - we didn’t even get to try the lift that is halfway up the hill for more beginner trails. My youngest was super jazzed after his lesson and joined us for a few runs. While my youngest took his lesson, my oldest and I tried out the beginner terrain off the Wizard chair lift. We had both of our kids (7 and 9) take their first lesson on skiing at Mt Rose at the end of 2021 (right after the HUGE snowstorm), and the instructors and employees there were fantastic! My boys loved learning to ski, and my youngest took his instructor’s advice to heart, and said, “I need to take another lesson.” My oldest said that he “got the basics down and didn’t need another lesson,” so we scheduled a second day. If they had come in to clean why didn't they pick that up? On one of the days the housekeeping had come in despite the sign on the door, and the sign itself was just laying on the floor of our room. They have yet return my voice message.ĭuring our stay, we kept the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door every day and did the cleaning ourselves, as we were not in the room midday. Conveniently for them, they did not answer during business hours. I've since called, and was redirected to the billing department. My wife checked out and didn't catch the mistake. It wasn't until we checked out that we realized that they had charged us that early check in fee for EVERY day we were there, when it was clearly stated it was for only one day. ![]() We got into town with 2 kids in the car, and requested an early check in for the first day. We were originally quoted a much lower price than we got, they did not honor the booking discount we were given. We stayed for 6 nights in the Sliver Legacy. ![]()
